– 25+ years working part time for the NHS with a level 2 City and Guilds in dog grooming.

– 30+ years working in IT. 10+ years as a junior football coach.

Why use our services?

As pet parents and animal lovers we know how much your pet means to you and your family. We would care for them as if one of our own, the well-being and happiness of every furry family member is our top priority.

We all love to walk our dog’s and for them to socialize and get their much needed exercise. However if working full time, family commitments and with modern hectic lifestyles, it can be difficult to find enough time for your dog each day.

Dogs like lots of love and exercise, if left alone for long periods of time a dog will become bored and anxious.

That’s where we can help to support you with their exercise and socialization needs and offer them our love and care.

Your dog’s face and excitement when you call out walkies, start putting on your shoes or pickup their lead, tells you how much your dog loves being out, sniffing out the world and seeking new doggy friends. The disappointment for the both of you when you have to leave them home alone and not fulfil their desire can be heart breaking.

We can solve a little of the heartbreak by offering regular, occasional or one-off basis walks.

Walks in Maidenhead area

 To have variety for your dog/s we walk in the area covering Maidenhead from local fields, woodlands, parks, nature reserves, National Trust (Cliveden), River Thames. Etc.

All walks can be tracked via GPS and we can supply photo’s of your dog using our dog walking app.

In Wet/Damp weather all paws are cleaned on returning home and we Check that your dog has fresh water and everything is secure, or if requested and depending on availability for additional cost after the walk we can bath and groom your dog before returning them home.

Leaving our pets home alone can feel very uncomfortable and worrying.  This is where we can help to alleviate this stress. 

With our visits we can cater to their needs for up to 20 minutes per visit be it for cats, rabbits or other small furry animals. All that is required is that food, toys and litter are readily available.

If you have any specific requests for visits, we can try our best to accommodate those as well.

Dog Walking

At Doodle Pawz, we hope to have a service for you.

During an initial meet and greet we can discuss our dog walking services for small/medium dogs, which can be altered where possible to fit you and your dog. You can also establish if Doodle PawZ is the right fit for you.

Depending on our client’s needs, the below is an initial guide to possible schedules we can offer –

Slot 1 – morning 

Slot 2 – midday 

Slot 3 – afternoon

All walks are an hour in length. This means your dog could be in our trust for over two hours (more if bath and groom requested) this is to cover all pickups, transit to walking destination, paws cleaned and dried if required, return home, fill water bowls and check your home is secured on exit.

Weekday 1 hour Group Walk – £15

Weekday 1 hour Group Walk for 2 Dogs in same household – £26

Dog Walking & Pet Sitting Terms and Conditions

1. Booking & Cancellations

  • The first booking can be confirmed once all important information is recorded during an initial free, meet and greet.

It is important to Doodle PawZ that we get to know your dog\pet before confirming any bookings – this is to provide you with peace of mind that your dog\pet is happy with us; and for us to spend time with you understanding your dog’s personality, habits and much-loved quirks.  please be honest and provide as much information as possible.  This might include any special requirements, behavioural habits of your dog (for example: typical energy levels, love of squirrels, recall habits, any aversion to other dogs/specific breeds, allergies, etc.).  It will be your responsibility to keep us updated about your dog\pet and any changes to their behaviour whilst they remain in our care.

  • Booking: All services, including dog walking and pet sitting, must be booked in advance. We recommend booking at least 1 week prior to your required service date.
  • Cancellations: Doodle PawZ understands that sometimes your plans can change at short notice and as such, we’ll try to be as flexible and understanding of cancellations as possible. Nonetheless, we ask that you try to give us 24 hours notice  of any cancellations to avoid any fees.

2. Service Details

  • Dog Walking: Walks last no less than 60 minutes, however, we will apply personal judgment and cut a walk short if necessary. This may occur if one of the dogs or us becomes injured or falls ill or because of extreme weather (e.g. heat, thunderstorms, heavy snow) for the safety of both the dogs and us.  In extreme heat it may not be safe to walk your dog and we may suggest alternative arrangements be made, such as a Home Pop In Service.  We will always put the health and welfare of the dogs first.
  • Pet Sitting: Our pet sitting services include daily check-ins, feeding, and playtime as agreed in advance. The duration of each visit is up to 20 minutes
  • Additional Services: If you request additional services (e.g., administering medication, additional walks, or special care), additional charges may apply. We will confirm these services in advance.

3. Pet Health & Safety

  • Health Information: Clients must inform us of any health issues, allergies, or special needs their pets have before the service begins. Failure to disclose health concerns could result in service disruption.
  • Vaccinations: All pets must be up to date on vaccinations and be free from parasites (fleas, ticks) to use our services. Proof of vaccination may be requested before the first appointment.
  • Behaviour: We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet exhibits aggressive or dangerous behaviour. In the event of such behaviour, we will stop the service and charge for the time spent. We will contact you immediately if we encounter any issues.
  • Emergency Situations: In case of an emergency or injury while in our care, we will make every effort to contact you immediately. If we cannot reach you, we will take your pet to the nearest emergency veterinary clinic at your expense.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing: A detailed price list is available upon request.
  • Payment: Payment for all services is due in full at the time of booking or the start of the service. We accept payment via [cash or bank transfer].
  • Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply for extended walks, special care, or any unexpected circumstances (e.g., last-minute changes, emergency vet visits). You will be notified of any additional charges in advance when possible.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Access to Property: Clients must provide Doodle Pawz with access to their property to carry out services. This may include providing keys, gate codes, or alarm codes. If a key is lost or misplaced, we will reimburse the cost of replacing it.
  • Special Instructions: Clients must provide clear instructions regarding pet care needs, including feeding times, medication schedules, and any other specific requirements.
  • Pet Safety: Clients must ensure their pets are safe and secure before our services begin. We are not responsible for any damages to your property or injury to your pet that occurs before or after the scheduled service period.

6. Liability

  • Damage or Injury: Doodle Pawz is not responsible for any injury, illness, or damage to your pet that occurs while in our care, except where caused by our negligence. This includes any injury that may occur during walks or pet sitting sessions.
  • Pet Behaviour: While we take every care to keep your pet safe, Doodle Pawz is not liable for damage to third parties or property caused by your pet during our service, especially if your pet’s behaviour is unpredictable or aggressive.

7. Photography and Social Media

  • Media Release: With your permission, we may take photographs of your pet during walks, which could be used for promotional purposes on our website and social media platforms.
  • Opt-Out: If you prefer not to have your pet’s photos shared, please inform us.

8. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • Personal Information: Any personal information provided by clients will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the service. We will not share your personal information with third parties unless required by law or with your consent.

9. Termination of Services

  • Termination by Client: You may terminate our services at any time, provided you give us a minimum of 2 days notice.
  • Termination by Doodle Pawz We reserve the right to terminate services if we believe that continuing the service would be unsafe or detrimental to the well-being of your pet, staff, or other clients. In such cases, you will be notified immediately, and any unused services will be refunded.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated through our website or via email. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Dog Grooming Terms and Conditions

1. Appointment & Cancellations

  • Scheduling: Appointments must be made in advance. We recommend scheduling your grooming appointment at least a month before your preferred date.
  • Cancellations: Doodle PawZ understands that sometimes your plans can change at short notice and as such, we’ll try to be as flexible and understanding of cancellations as possible.  Nonetheless, we ask that you try to give us 2 days notice  of any cancellations to avoid any cancellation fees.
  • Missed Appointments: Clients who fail to show up for an appointment without prior notice will be charged a 50% fee of the grooming service booked.

 

2. Grooming Services

  • Scope of Services: We provide grooming services including bathing, haircuts and nail trimming.  Minor ear cleaning is included for the removal of light debris around the ear.  Where infection is present or there is indication of another health issue, Doodle Pawz will not carry out ear cleaning and you will be advised to contact your veterinary practice for medical advice.   Any additional services requested will be subject to availability and pricing.
  • Breed and Size Limitations: We reserve the right to refuse grooming services for pets that are deemed unsafe or unsuitable for grooming. We may also limit services based on the size, breed, or temperament of the dog.
  • Health Considerations: Clients must inform us of any health issues, allergies, or special considerations regarding their dog before the appointment. If your dog requires additional care due to health conditions, additional charges may apply.

 

3. Pet Health & Safety

  • Vaccinations: All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, before receiving grooming services.
  • Behaviour: We reserve the right to refuse service if your pet exhibits aggressive or dangerous behaviour. If a dog becomes aggressive during grooming, we will stop the service and charge for the time spent. Although we may be able to offer desensitisation work with anxious dogs with prior agreement.
  • Coat condition:
    • Matted Fur: If your dog’s fur is severely matted, additional charges may apply to safely remove the mats. In line with the Animal Welfare Act 2006, the safest and most appropriate way to remove matts is to shave them off. If the mats cannot be safely removed, we will discuss alternative solutions.
    • Fleas: If your dog is found to have flea’s we will be unable to continue the appointment and will need to charge for the time spent.
  • Health: If your dog is deemed unfit for the grooming process or becomes unwell during their appointment we will be unable to continue the appointment and we will contact you immediately. (Charges may apply for time spent).
  • Emergencies: In the event of an injury or medical emergency during the grooming session, we will attempt to contact you immediately. If we cannot reach you, we will seek emergency veterinary treatment at your cost.

 

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing: A price list is available upon request.
  • Payment: Payment is due in full at the time of service. We accept payment via [cash or bank transfer].
  • Additional Charges: Any additional services requested or required (excessive matting) will be charged accordingly.

 6. Grooming Results

  • Outcomes: Grooming results may vary depending on the breed, coat condition, and temperament of the dog. While we strive for perfection, we cannot guarantee specific results.
  • Client Satisfaction: If you are not satisfied with the grooming service, please notify us immediately. We will do our best to rectify the situation, but any requests for re-grooming after the dog has left our premises may be subject to additional fees.
